The answer: You know that the odd number in a book is ALWAYS on the right and the even number is ALWAYS on the left, so since the page numbers you were given could not be facing each other. Therefore, you know for a fact that the money could not be hidden there.

Riddle Number 4.
I am the owner of a pet store.
If I put in one canary per cage, I have one bird too many.
If I put in two canaries per cage, I have one cage too many.
How many cages and canaries do I have?
The answer: I have 3 cages and 4 canaries.


Riddle Number 5.
The ages of a father and son add up to 66. The father's age is the son's age reversed.
How old could they be? (there are 3 possible solutions).

The answer: 51 and 15, 42 and 24 or 60 and 06.


Riddle Number 6.
What are the next 3 letters? o t t f f s s _ _ _
The answer:  "e.. n.. t". They represent the first letter when writing the numbers "one" to "ten". (one, two, three, four, etc.)


Riddle Number 7.
There is an English word that is nine letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it still remains an English word - from nine letters right down to a single letter.
What is the original word, and what are the words that it becomes after removing one letter at a time?

The answer: "startling". Then we have … starting - staring - string - sting - sing - sin - in – I

There are two dogs sitting on the carpet – one dog is fat and one is thin. The thin dog is the son of the fat dog, but the fat dog is not the father of the thin dog. How can it be?
The answer: The fat dog is the mother of the thin dog.
