4 What do you think he is like? Write down three adjectives to describe his personality.
3 Read the second part of the text and check whether your answers to the questions in 2B were right. Then answer the questions alongside the text.

A young man asked a rich old man how he made his money, The old guy fingered his woollen vest and said, "Well, son, it was 1932, The depth of the Great Depression. I was down to my last nickel. I nvested that nickel in an apple. I spent ee entire day polishing the apple and, at the end of the day, I sold the apple for Ien cents. The next morning, I invested those ten cents in two apples. I spent the entire day polislung them and sold them at 5 p.m. for 20 cents. I continued this sistem for a month, by the end of which I'd accumulated a fortune of $1,37.
